Operations Executive

About the role

The Operations Executive will support the Manager in overseeing daily activities at Cogent Tank Depot, ensuring smooth and efficient tank depot operations on Jurong Island. This role is pivotal in maintaining service quality, safety standards, and customer confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Manager with daily operations and ensure seamless flow of depot activities.
• Allocate and monitor tasks for operations staff, guaranteeing standards are met.
• Handle daily customer correspondence and report enhancements or issues to the Manager.
• Track equipment availability, enforce operational procedures, and maintain depot facilities.
• Monitor team performance, resolve response‑time and inventory issues, and attend meetings with shipping agents or clients.
• Maintain records of fixed assets and ensure safety hazards are identified and mitigated.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in operations and a supervisory role, preferably within a logistics company.
• Ability to multitask, goal‑oriented mindset, and willingness to work on Jurong Island.
