Operations Manager

About the role

Violet Oon Singapore is looking for an experienced, hands‑on Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across all its dining outlets. This service‑focused leadership position ensures smooth daily operations, strong team performance, efficient manpower utilization, and outstanding guest experiences throughout the group.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and support daily outlet operations across assigned locations, providing hands‑on leadership on the floor.
• Uphold company‑wide service standards, conduct operational audits, spot checks, and ensure SOP compliance, cleanliness, and proper manpower deployment.
• Manage VIP events, group bookings, festive operations, and special occasions.
• Plan, deploy, and roster manpower; work with outlet leaders to optimise labour costs.
• Mentor Restaurant Managers and supervisory teams, conduct briefings, coaching, and training sessions.
• Monitor staff performance, discipline, and compliance with company policies.
• Engage with guests on the floor, handle escalated feedback and complaints, and maintain consistent guest experience standards.
• Monitor inventory, stock management, and operational procedures; ensure hygiene and SOP compliance.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Kitchen, and outlet teams for operational coordination.
• Provide operational coverage during shortages, openings, and festive periods; support senior management on performance and business objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in food & beverage or hospitality operations.
• Proven track record in middle‑management roles with strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
• Ability to work actively on the floor, lead by example, and drive service excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for guest interaction and staff mentorship.
