Operations Technician - Singapore Pioneer Plant

About the role

The Singapore Pioneer Plant is hiring full-time Operations Technicians. Each technician has three overlapping roles: operator for a specific area, equipment owner for specific equipment, and system owner for their team or line. The plant produces globally recognised brands such as Always, Ariel, Gillette, Head Shoulders, Herbal Essences, Oral B, Pampers, Pantene and Tampax.

Key responsibilities

• Area position: run the batch making and packing process according to the daily production plan, follow the team leader's job assignments and uphold safety and quality standards in the plant.
• Equipment ownership: keep equipment in good condition, develop equipment standards (safety map, loss map, lubrication map), create operations standards and improvements (job aids, SOPs, OPLs, Kaizens) and run equipment-related loss elimination projects.
• System ownership: own up to two systems of the site.

Required profile

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good collaboration with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
• Willingness to work in the Tuas area.
