Oracle PaaS Designer - Senior Consultant

About the role

Rolling Arrays is seeking a Senior Oracle PaaS Designer to extend Oracle HCM solutions using the platform's low‑code extensibility layer. This functional delivery role focuses on designing precise extension specifications that developers can implement without clarification, ensuring minimal upgrade risk and optimal client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Govern the extension decision framework, evaluating non‑standard requirements and recommending the lowest‑risk approach.
• Configure Oracle Application Composer custom objects, including business object hierarchy, field definitions, validation logic, and integration with standard approval and notification processes.
• Customize HCM user interfaces with Page Composer and Page Designer, applying conditional logic, field hints, visibility rules, and layout adjustments across Redwood and non‑Redwood pages.
• Manage sandbox governance, define sandbox strategies, resolve configuration conflicts, and prevent overwriting of approved settings.
• Produce detailed Extension Design Documents that include upgrade‑safety notes and post‑patch regression testing guidance.
• Translate business rules into Groovy scripting specifications and review delivered scripts for logical correctness.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing extensions in Oracle HCM using Application Composer and Page Composer.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess multiple solution options and select the most maintainable one.
• Excellent written communication skills to create unambiguous design documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, functional consultants, and client stakeholders.
