Part-Time Lecturer – AI in Information Management

About the role

NTU’s Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information is seeking a part‑time lecturer to deliver AI‑focused courses within its Master of Science in Information Studies programme. The role involves teaching graduate students about the intersection of artificial intelligence, information management, and responsible technology use.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver three‑hour weekly sessions that combine lectures, tutorials, and seminars.
• Develop and update course syllabi, lecture materials, and assessment tools.
• Design assignments and examinations that evaluate students’ understanding of AI governance, ethics, human‑centered design, prompt engineering, decision‑making, and sustainability.
• Provide consultation and feedback to students throughout the semester.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Information Science, Information Studies, Information Systems, AI, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of AI‑related topics such as governance, ethics, user‑experience design, and sustainability.

Required skills

• Expertise in AI concepts and their application to information management.
• Ability to create and deliver academic content for graduate students.
