Part-Time Lecturer in Information Management (AI Focus)

About the role

Nanyang Technological University's Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach AI-related courses in its Master of Science in Information Studies programme. The programme covers managing information and building systems, as well as understanding human needs, responsible use of technology and turning information into actionable insights. The course runs as a three-hour weekly session.

Key responsibilities

• Teach AI-related modules such as AI governance and compliance, AI ethics, human-centred design of AI applications, prompt engineering, AI in decision making, and sustainability of AI systems.
• Lead sessions, plan the syllabus and prepare class materials.
• Design and assess assignments and tests.
• Provide student consultations.

Required profile

• A Master's degree or higher in Information Science, Information Studies, Information Systems, AI or a related field.
• Experience teaching at graduate or undergraduate level, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of the relevant topics.
