About the role
The School of Social Sciences at NTU is seeking part‑time lecturers to deliver undergraduate courses on Ethics and Civics. The role involves teaching, tutoring and assessing students on topics such as human rights, meritocracy and multiculturalism.
Key responsibilities
- Attend online lectures and deliver tutorial sessions for assigned courses.
- Prepare and grade assignments, quizzes, tests and exam scripts.
- Provide timely feedback and address student queries in collaboration with the course coordinator.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and assessment outcomes.
Required profile
- A degree in social sciences, preferably with a focus on political science or sociology.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s political and social context.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate topics in Ethics and Civics.
- Availability to conduct tutorials and hold office hours as needed.
