Part-Time Oyster Shucker

About the role

We are looking for a reliable part-time Oyster Shucker to join our raw-bar team. The role involves preparing and serving oysters with speed and precision while delivering a high-quality dining experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Shuck oysters quickly while maintaining presentation standards.
• Handle multiple orders simultaneously with accuracy.
• Set up and maintain the raw bar for regular service and catering events.
• Collaborate with the head chef to ensure smooth service during food service periods.
• Keep the shucking station clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service.
• Assist with inventory checks and supply ordering as needed.
• Support other kitchen prep tasks when required.

Required profile

• Proven ability to shuck oysters efficiently while preserving quality.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment handling high order volumes.
• Background in setting up and operating a raw bar.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Flexible availability for nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
