Part-Time Research Assistant – Visual Communication & Interactive Design

About the role

The School of Art, Design and Media at NTU seeks a part‑time Research Assistant to support the AI and Quantum Visualization project, an interdisciplinary art‑science initiative that reaches audiences through exhibitions, digital platforms and publications.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage social‑media content, including reels, graphics and short‑form videos for Instagram, LinkedIn and related channels.
• Develop and maintain the project’s visual identity and branding across digital and print media.
• Design exhibition collateral such as posters, brochures, postcards and catalogue layouts.
• Assist with exhibition curation, installation flow and event coordination for local and international venues.
• Document research outputs, compile archival materials for publications and grant reporting.
• Support grant workflow administration and preparation of dissemination materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Interactive Media or a related field.
• Strong visual design sense for both digital and print media.
• Interest in media art, art‑science or research communication.
• Portfolio showcasing design and/or social‑media work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Experience creating social‑media content and editing short‑form video/reels.
