About the role
The Master of Arts in Translation and Interpretation (MTI) Programme at NTU is looking for passionate part‑time lecturers to teach practical heritage studies and multilingual museum translation content focused on Singapore.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop course syllabus and teaching materials.
- Deliver lectures and lead classroom discussions.
- Oversee assessments, grade assignments and provide feedback.
- Mentor students through academic and professional consultations.
- Supervise student projects and assignments related to museum and heritage translation.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
- Strong academic or industry experience in heritage and museum studies with a multilingual, multicultural focus on Singapore.
- Prior teaching or curriculum development experience in higher education (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
