Pathways and IBDP Coordinator, High School

About the role

Stamford American International School, an IB World School in Singapore offering the PYP, MYP and IB Diploma Programme (DP), is looking for a Pathways and IBDP Coordinator to join its High School team. The role leads the quality of teaching and learning for Grade 11-12 academic pathways, including the IBDP, AP, Stamford courses and BTEC courses, ensuring curricular coherence, teacher growth and high standards of pedagogy, assessment and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the quality of teaching and learning for Grade 11-12 pathways (IBDP, AP, Stamford courses, BTEC)
• Ensure curricular coherence and teacher growth
• Maintain high standards of pedagogy, assessment and reporting aligned with the school's Guiding Statements, Learning Principles and Pedagogical Framework
• Supervise or manage the IBDP Core (Theory of Knowledge, Creativity, Activity, Service and Extended Essay)
• Build teacher capacity through collaborative inquiry, student work analysis, assessment moderation and instructional coaching

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject, with a valid teaching certification or license
• Minimum 5 years of teaching in a secondary school
• Minimum 3 years of academic operations management in a secondary school
• Teaching experience across at least two curricular programs
• Full compliance with Cognita safeguarding and child protection requirements

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational Leadership or International Education
• Prior experience as an IB Diploma Programme Coordinator
• Leadership experience in more than one program (IBDP, AP, BTEC, US Common Core)
• Experience designing or managing multi-pathway high school graduation frameworks
• IB Examiner, DP Workshop Leader or College Board AP Consultant experience
