Patient Service Associate – Clinic

About the role

The Patient Service Associate will support daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate administrative handling. This role involves coordinating appointments, handling payments, and assisting clinical staff in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments, make reminder calls and verify patient information at each visit.
• Collect insurance details, identify coverage, process co‑payments, credit‑card transactions and daily cash deposits.
• Perform timely billing in the Clinic Management System and insurance portals.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with PDPA and manage clinic inventory.
• Assist doctors and nurses with procedures, including venipuncture and other treatment‑room tests.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE “N” Levels with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin for patient interactions.
• Fully vaccinated according to MOH guidelines or provide a medical exemption.

Required skills

• Venipuncture (valid certification).
• Medication dispensing with second‑checker verification.
• Proficiency in using a Clinic Management System for scheduling and billing.
• Knowledge of insurance billing processes and PDPA compliance.
