Patient Service Associate

About the role

NUHS is looking for a Patient Service Associate to act as an advocate for patients, promoting self-help and self-care. The role combines educating patients on mobile apps and self-care programmes with day-to-day clinic operations at the polyclinic.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and educate patients on mobile applications and self-help functions, and onboard them into nationwide healthcare initiatives such as Healthier SG
• Facilitate and plan programmes by liaising with partnered vendors and arranging logistics and schedules
• Help patients navigate the polyclinic: registration, scheduling and rescheduling appointments, processing referrals and handling payments
• Act as first point of contact for general questions, perform initial health screenings (height, weight, blood pressure checks) and make outgoing calls to address urgent requests
• Provide administrative support to the clinic as needed

Required profile

• Polytechnic diploma, GCE A/O/NITEC qualification
• Experience in frontline and customer service preferred
• Commitment to a 5.5-day work week

• Comfortable with public speaking for patient education
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
