Patient Service Associate, Outpatient (2-Year Contract)

About the role

NUHS is recruiting a Patient Service Associate for its outpatient clinics on a 2-year contract, subject to extension or permanent conversion based on satisfactory performance. The role delivers friendly, efficient customer service and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere for patients, with the aim of excellent patient care and satisfaction. Only Singapore citizens and Singapore permanent residents may apply.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the clinic's operational and procedural areas ready according to service standards.
• Support the patient journey: accurate and timely registration, discharge, appointment booking, cashiering and enquiries such as insurance provider information for billing.
• Provide chaperone assistance to doctors and nurses and prepare consultation documents.
• Handle requests, emails and phone enquiries.
• Assist the clinic manager with administrative duties and perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Preferably GCE 'N' Level and above.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in a hospital setting and in different clinics when needed, and in inpatient wards if required.
• Prior experience in hospitality or service industries is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer skills; handling multiple systems is an advantage.
• An ability to speak a second language is an advantage.

Schedule: 5-day week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm or 8:30am to 6pm depending on the hiring clinic.
