People Services Assistant Manager – Continuous Improvement & Experience

About the role

The People Services Assistant Manager, Continuous Improvement & Experience, is a senior individual contributor responsible for designing and delivering end‑to‑end improvements to People & Culture services across Asia. The role works hands‑on across process re‑engineering, HR‑technology enablement and new ways of working to create effortless, customer‑focused experiences while ensuring compliance and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Map and diagnose end‑to‑end team‑member journeys, identify pain points and co‑design simpler, more intuitive service experiences.
• Lead and execute continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean, service‑design and root‑cause analysis, balancing standardisation with local regulatory realities.
• Translate business needs into practical HR‑technology solutions (self‑service, case management, automation) and influence design decisions.
• Partner with People Services leaders, market P&C teams, COEs and Group colleagues to align on solutions and influence outcomes through structured problem framing.
• Define clear ways of working, hand‑offs and responsibilities, and support adoption through tools, playbooks and behaviour‑change guidance.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with strong influence, partnership and problem‑solving skills.
• Hands‑on experience in process re‑engineering, continuous‑improvement methodologies and HR‑technology enablement.
• Ability to work without formal authority, driving change through credibility and structured thinking.
• No people‑management, product‑owner or PMO responsibilities.
