Pharmaceutical Technologist

About the role

Antaes, a Swiss management and technology consulting firm founded in 2007, is hiring a Pharmaceutical Technologist in Singapore. The role covers batch manufacturing execution and technical support for Life Science projects for Antaes Asia clients, within a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Execute batch manufacturing instructions according to pre-defined procedures and training, following process-critical steps
• Verify batch recipes (POMS and DeltaV), manual operations and ad hoc manufacturing documentation
• Take part in designing manufacturing recipes in DCS and contribute to digitalization projects that streamline processes
• Provide inputs on operational and process improvements, investigations, impact assessments and CAPAs
• Take part in safety risk assessments and process hazard analysis as an operations representative (PHA)
• Maintain the plant in audit-ready condition during the shift and ensure processes run on schedule, alerting the shift supervisor to expected delays
• Communicate events and issues clearly with stakeholders and promote Antaes services to clients

Required profile

• Nitec/Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical experience in a Quality and/or Compliance (GxP) environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with good organizational, oral and written communication skills
• Excellent written and spoken English to liaise with English-speaking colleagues
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
