Physician Proctor, M.D. (THV/TMTT)

About the role

As part of Edwards' Medical Affairs team in Singapore, you will foster internal and external collaboration to share evidence-based clinical practices and advance the quality of care for people with cardiovascular disease. You will deliver hands-on and hybrid (onsite and remote) training and procedural instruction to physicians and clinical teams on THV and TMTT devices.

Key responsibilities

• Train and instruct physicians and clinical teams on THV and TMTT devices, ensuring safe and effective use.
• Evaluate cases, interpret advanced imaging, plan procedures, guide them intra-procedurally, manage complications and review outcomes.
• Develop and share best practices and techniques with key opinion leaders through simulation workshops and digital platforms.
• Advise on complex, high-risk cases such as redo TAVR, valve-in-valve and mitral/tricuspid interventions.
• Lead and take part in educational events, case conferences and advisory panels, and engage with professional societies.
• Provide medical guidance on complaints, off-label and compassionate use cases and complex imaging.

Required profile

• Practicing physician with proven expertise as a current THV implanter (transfemoral/transapical) and working knowledge of TMTT.
• Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor and proctor physicians onsite and remotely.
• Strong clinical education experience, including simulation workshops, group presentations and program moderation.
• Recognized clinical leader with contributions to conferences, advisory boards or publications.
• Deep understanding of cardiology, transcatheter therapies, multimodality imaging (CT, echo, fusion) and patient selection.
