Planner – Demand & Production Scheduling

About the role

The Planner will act as the primary interface with customers to manage demand plans and shipment information. You will develop feasible operational plans, own their execution, and continuously improve planning performance to ensure customer satisfaction and protect Jabil’s liability.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units and customers to create a joint demand plan using the Demand Management Process.
• Develop a Master Schedule by analysing material and capacity requirements.
• Load the Master Schedule into Jabil’s ERP system and maintain a realistic production plan.
• Work closely with operations to ensure successful execution of the plan.
• Generate revenue forecasts, monitor actual performance, and initiate corrective actions when targets are at risk.
• Track planning metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to company security policies and procedural guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 1‑2 years of materials‑related experience, or a Master’s degree without experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in interpreting technical documents and reports.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.

Required skills

• Thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience with Jabil’s ERP software.
• Advanced PC skills, including proficiency with standard office applications.
