Planner – Production & Inventory Scheduling (Pharma)

About the role

The Planner will support a leading pharmaceutical multinational in Singapore’s North region, coordinating production schedules, inventory levels and material flows to meet customer demand while ensuring quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule production based on orders, safety stock, due dates and machine capabilities, and release manufacturing orders accordingly.
• Monitor production progress, follow up on rework and non‑conformance reports, and update plans to address backlogs.
• Plan inventory for finished goods, work‑in‑process and raw materials, track excess or slow‑moving stock, and initiate write‑offs when needed.
• Reschedule material deliveries, call in local supplies, and advise Customer Service on stock availability.
• Collaborate with Quality Control, R&D, Purchasing and Production to resolve NCRs and participate in Material Review Board activities.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, track KPIs, prepare supply‑chain reports, maintain ERP data and support continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in a relevant discipline.
• 1–3 years experience in a batch manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of MRP II and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Resourceful, decisive and able to solve problems across functions.
