Planning Engineer

About the role

The Planning Engineer will support the construction team by preparing, updating and monitoring project schedules. You will ensure that all planning activities align with project timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update project schedules, incorporating changes and progress.
• Coordinate with the construction team to develop working programmes and submit daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Perform site planning, coordination and inspections to meet timeline, requirement and budget targets.
• Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 compliance, documenting procedures and client/authority requirements.
• Assist Quantity Surveyors with site measurements and inspections.
• Prepare and interpret engineering plans and specifications, communicating technical requirements to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Resolve technical issues encountered during execution and contribute to construction method statements and value‑engineering proposals.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and relevant authorities to manage site issues and ensure safety and quality compliance.

Required profile

• Executive level experience in construction planning and coordination.
