Plant Manager

About the role

The Plant Manager at Phage Arab is a part‑time, on‑site position in Singapore responsible for overseeing daily plant operations that support phage‑therapy research and production. The role ensures that manufacturing processes meet quality, safety and regulatory standards while driving efficiency and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor production schedules to meet quality, volume and timeline requirements.
• Supervise plant staff, allocate resources and manage workflows across shifts.
• Maintain equipment, facilities and GMP compliance, implementing and updating standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with scientific, quality‑assurance and operations teams to identify and execute process improvements.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, ensure continuous improvement initiatives and report performance metrics to leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plant management or plant operations within a regulated biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong background in operations management, resource allocation and performance monitoring.
• Hands‑on experience with production planning and scheduling.
• Understanding of GMP or equivalent quality and safety standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Biotechnology or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
