PLC Mechatronics Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated PLC Mechatronics Engineer to join our automation team in Singapore. You will work on designing, programming, and commissioning advanced control systems for factory automation projects, collaborating closely with engineers and technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop PLC software and interfaces using ladder diagram or structured text.
• Program industrial robots (e.g., ABB, Kuka, Yaskawa) and integrate them into automation solutions.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure project milestones are met.
• Visit customer sites to troubleshoot system errors and provide technical support.
• Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of control systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of PLC programs, configurations, and modifications.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• Entry‑level candidates with a strong passion for automation.
• Good problem‑solving abilities and willingness to learn.
