About the role
PwC’s Advanced Polytechnic Graduate Pathway Programme offers a structured entry into the Financial Services Assurance practice. As an Assistant Associate, you will join a team that supports audit and assurance engagements for leading asset management, banking, capital markets, and insurance clients.
Key responsibilities
- Assist professionals in delivering high‑quality assurance services to clients.
- Conduct internal control and risk management reviews.
- Perform procedural and regulatory compliance analyses.
- Support audit documentation and testing activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of assignments.
Required profile
- Diploma in Accountancy from a local polytechnic (preferred).
- Active participation in co‑curricular activities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Commitment to teamwork and excellence.
Required skills
- Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards.
- Understanding of accounting policies.
- Familiarity with auditing methodologies.
- Experience with compliance auditing.
- Exposure to artificial intelligence (AI) platforms for assurance work.
