Power BI Technical Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Power BI Technical Specialist to lead the enterprise Business Intelligence platform for Surbana Jurong’s Group IT. In this hands‑on role you will be the internal authority on Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, shaping data‑driven decision‑making across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Own enterprise‑wide Power BI and Microsoft Fabric governance, including tenant configuration, workspace strategy, capacity planning and gateway management.
• Act as Power BI Service Administrator, enforcing access controls, data policies and compliance standards.
• Design, develop and maintain semantic models and enterprise‑grade data pipelines for self‑service reporting.
• Implement row‑level security and optimise DAX queries, ensuring high‑performance analytics.
• Collaborate with business units, data owners and functional leaders to understand reporting needs and deliver analytics across Management, Operations, Finance, CRM and other domains.
• Support DevOps processes for BI delivery and ensure adherence to architectural standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Power BI specialist or similar analytics engineering role.
• Hands‑on expertise with Power BI Service administration and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong background in data modelling, semantic modelling and BI governance.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
