PR Communications Manager

About the role

We are seeking a PR & Public Affairs Manager to join IG Group’s PR & Communications team, supporting the company’s presence across Singapore and the broader APAC region. You will drive bold, high‑impact PR campaigns in a fast‑moving newsroom‑style environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale the APAC PR function, delivering a high‑volume press office and proactive public affairs programme.
• Manage 2–3 external agencies, ensuring quality output and measurable results.
• Draft, edit and review press releases, campaign plans and other communications material to the highest standards.
• Support strategy development, contribute to campaign briefs and track performance against targets.
• Produce monthly activity reports and insights for senior stakeholders.
• Generate PR ideas in collaboration with agencies and internal teams.
• Identify newsworthy data and stories within the business for media use.
• Prepare spokespeople with messaging documents and Q&As for key announcements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists and political stakeholders across Singapore and APAC.
• Partner with market analysts to turn their expertise into compelling PR stories.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in PR, journalism or a related fast‑paced environment, preferably within a PR agency, tech/fintech firm or national newsroom in Singapore or APAC.
• Creative thinker capable of generating fresh pitch ideas and data‑driven stories.
• Exceptional writing and editing ability, able to produce high‑quality content quickly.
• Strong interest in numbers and financial data to translate into compelling narratives.
