Presales Engineer – Audio‑Visual Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Presales Engineer to support our sales team by delivering technical expertise for audio‑visual (AV) solutions. You will work closely with customers, vendors and internal teams to design, propose and document AV systems that meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse customer requirements and recommend suitable AV technologies.
• Prepare solution proposals, technical specifications, system designs and bill of quantities (BOQ).
• Conduct site surveys to assess installation feasibility and technical constraints.
• Deliver product presentations, demonstrations and technical briefings to clients.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers on specifications and support.
• Assist in tender submissions, technical compliance documents and bid responses.
• Provide technical documentation and briefings for project hand‑over.
• Stay updated on new AV products, trends and industry standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, Audio‑Visual Technology or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in pre‑sales, systems engineering or technical support within the AV industry.
• Strong understanding of professional AV systems, including displays, projectors, LED walls, audio, video‑conferencing, control and networked AV.
• Ability to conduct site surveys and produce accurate technical proposals and cost estimates.
