Principal Analyst, Supply Chain Planning

About the role

GlobalFoundries is looking for a highly motivated Principal Analyst, Supply Chain Planning to lead production planning, customer engagement, and end‑to‑end supply‑chain execution across its global semiconductor manufacturing network. The role will drive supply‑demand alignment, secure revenue commitments, and coordinate cross‑functional actions to meet business, operational, and customer targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute manufacturing start plans that support revenue, delivery, and inventory goals.
• Balance customer demand, fab capacity, material readiness, and cycle‑time constraints to optimise production output.
• Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly planning reviews to ensure alignment between demand, supply and business objectives.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks, capacity bottlenecks and execution gaps across multiple technology nodes and sites.
• Monitor key planning KPIs such as order commit, starts, shipments, backlog, cycle time, on‑time delivery and capacity utilisation.
• Partner with strategic customers to secure demand commitments and drive revenue attainment.
• Lead supply‑planning discussions, demand reviews, shipment recovery plans, allocation management and upside opportunities.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end execution across manufacturing operations, procurement, material planning, demand planning and business teams.

Required profile

• Proven ability to drive supply‑demand alignment in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, material and demand planning.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication skills to act as a key interface between customers and internal functions.
