Principal Consultant - Technical Project Manager

About the role

Capco, a Wipro company and global technology and management consultancy, is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a Bank's Data Product Marketplace. The role oversees data product discovery, governance, metadata management, lineage, data quality and lifecycle capabilities, ensuring secure, on-time delivery within scope and aligned to enterprise data management standards. The candidate works closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, data governance teams, infrastructure teams and information security professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the technical delivery of the Data marketplace platform
• Develop project scopes, requirements, delivery plans and release roadmaps
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks and issues
• Coordinate engineering, architecture, data governance, platform engineering and business stakeholders
• Ensure integration with enterprise metadata, lineage, data quality, DevOps and governance platforms
• Drive Agile delivery, including sprint planning, backlog management, SIT, UAT and release planning
• Monitor progress and report status, risks and key decisions to stakeholders and senior management
• Improve delivery processes, governance practices and project management controls

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline
• 8+ years as a Technical Project Manager, Delivery Manager or Programme Manager delivering enterprise technology initiatives
• Experience delivering Data Management, Data Governance, Data Platforms, Metadata Management or Data Product initiatives
• Experience managing Agile delivery teams and complex stakeholder environments
• Unrestricted working rights in Singapore; only Singapore citizens and PRs considered, no employment pass sponsorship

Required skills

• Strong understanding of custom application delivery, system integration, data architecture, DevSecOps and cloud platforms
• Agile delivery and project management
• Nice to have: Custom Application Delivery, Data Product Operating Models, Data Governance and Metadata Platforms, Data Quality and Lineage Solutions, Chief Data Office programmes
