Principal Engineer – Process Engineering (Unit Module Development)

About the role

As a Principal Engineer in Process Engineering you will lead the development and optimisation of semiconductor fabrication processes for unit module development. You will act as a technical authority, drive continuous improvement, solve complex non-recurring problems and mentor a team of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and modify process formulations, methods and controls to meet strict quality standards.
• Create, analyse and review technical data, charts and performance metrics.
• Establish and maintain SOPs and conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for processes.
• Integrate equipment and material capabilities to satisfy process module and technology specifications.
• Lead recipe creation, maintenance and optimisation for inspection tools such as Brightfield, Darkfield and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
• Drive Continuous Improvement Plans (CIPs) and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Provide technical mentorship and act as subject-matter expert for junior engineers.
• Contribute to patents and publish conference or journal papers.
