About the role

The Environmental Health Institute (EHI), a research arm of the National Environment Agency, is looking for a self-driven, committed laboratory analyst to join its diagnostic team. The team provides early diagnosis of vector-borne diseases and works with local and international collaborators on public health research and surveillance. This is a contract position.

Key responsibilities

Work in the diagnostic team providing early diagnosis of vector-borne diseases
Handle risk group 2 pathogens
Work with risk group 3 pathogens and take part in their risk assessment
Help develop protocols
Participate in quality management initiatives and research projects

Required profile

Degree in Life Sciences, Biology or a related discipline
At least 5 years of experience in molecular biology techniques
BSL3 laboratory experience preferred
Willingness to work after office hours and on weekends if required
