Private Bank Night Dealer, AVP/VP

About the role

Deutsche Bank's Private Bank, one of the largest wealth managers worldwide, is looking for a Night Dealer (AVP/VP) in Singapore. The role covers trading activity during mid- and night-shift hours, providing coverage of European and U.S. markets during Asian trading sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute trading activities during mid- and night-shift hours, covering European and U.S. markets during Asian trading sessions.
• Ensure timely and accurate trade execution, booking and post-trade processing.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders on order status and execution updates.
• Ensure all trading complies with regulatory, compliance and risk management requirements.
• Work independently and deliver KPIs with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant trading experience, with coverage of European and U.S. markets.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• English and Mandarin; fluency in other Chinese languages is required because of engagement with the Chinese client group.
• Relevant regulatory licenses: Singapore SFA and FAA, or Hong Kong Type 1 and Type 4 securities licenses.
• Willingness to work Monday to Friday during mid-shift or overnight hours, including public holidays.
• Candidates from asset management or brokerage firms with a solid trade execution background are also considered.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with trading platforms and systems such as Bloomberg EMSX, ALLQ, SSOX and FINIQ.
• Familiarity with algorithmic trading strategies and electronic execution tools via Bloomberg and Reuters.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, equities, fixed income and structured product pricing.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity and workflow.
