Private Bank - Structured Lending, AVP

About the role

Deutsche Bank is hiring an Associate Vice President (AVP) for its Private Bank structured lending function in Singapore. The role works closely with Lending Management, Sales Coverage, Business Risk Management and Investment Solutions teams to implement and execute the lending business strategy and transactions for the APAC region, supporting credit structuring and financing solutions for Ultra High Net Worth clients and Family Offices in the South Asia market.

Key responsibilities

• Support the structuring and execution of tailored financing solutions for UHNW clients and Family Offices, focusing on structured financing against less liquid assets such as share-backed financing, real estate, alternative investments and structured products
• Handle flow transactions and exceptions to credit policy, including large exposures, concentrations and extended credits, applying covenants and hedging where needed
• Take part in new business initiatives and product development, and join client meetings with Sales/Coverage to discuss structured products and coordinate with lawyers and clients on legal documentation
• Monitor ongoing transactions and help draft marketing, deal execution and internal desk reports
• Shape credit-related processes, policies and platform enhancements

Required profile

• 4-5+ years of relevant experience in private banking, investment banking or financing groups within well-regarded financial institutions
• Good understanding of credit processes, policies and related legal and regulatory requirements
• Strong communicator, able to write concise reports, and able to work under pressure and deadlines
• Team player who collaborates across cultures and with infrastructure staff

Required skills

• Fundamental financial analysis of corporates
• Thorough knowledge of capital markets and derivatives products
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity and workflow, with responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
