Process Control Engineer, QEM PCS SPC/R2R

About the role

Micron is hiring a Process Control Engineer for its Fab 10 facility. You will build advanced process control, automation and analytics solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality and yields. As a PCS engineer you will gain exposure to many process areas of the fab and help the PCS team develop smart-manufacturing applications that integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with process teams to develop, implement and improve advanced control solutions for optimal manufacturing performance.
• Create manufacturing and business process automation tools to improve efficiency.
• Use manufacturing process data with statistical analysis or machine learning to identify problems and turn them into control and automation solutions.
• Work with a global team to maintain, align and improve process control applications.
• Develop and deliver training on control systems and related topics.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work, following organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by testing and sharing AI-enabled enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Science.
• Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator able to collaborate across all levels.
• Growth mindset and passion for continuous learning.
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.

Required skills

• Programming knowledge in R/Python is a plus.
• Baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI tools responsibly.
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
