Process Engineer

About the role

Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited (ALSg), the largest industrial gas company in south-east Asia, is looking for a Process Engineer. The role supervises the operations of the unit by organizing the plant's workflow and coordinating with Industrial, Maintenance and SIO Center teams and the Business Developer.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations, technical support and shutdown maintenance for nitrogen generators and auxiliary systems to ensure uninterrupted product supply.
• Drive site optimization programs, analyze operational data and manage end-to-end liquid production, scheduling and energy efficiency.
• Enforce safety rules, legal regulations and IMS standards, and serve on the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Plan and run preventive maintenance, analyzer calibrations and emergency troubleshooting for planned and unplanned shutdowns.
• Manage customer expectations, supply reliability, consumption reporting and inventory tracking to avoid service disruptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in industrial process operations or production; experience in a related field is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of the operational functions, technologies and equipment used in the company.
• Self-motivated, independent and proactive in seeking clarification when needed.
