Process Integration & Yield Enhancement Engineer

About the role

Micron is hiring a Process Integration & Yield Enhancement Engineer to drive manufacturing performance by reducing variability across assembly and test. Using statistical analysis and advanced data analytics, the engineer identifies yield improvement opportunities and supports fast, accurate resolution of production issues, based on daily analysis of inline, alarm, electrical test and experimental data.

Key responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of yield analysis methods, backend assembly and test processes, semiconductor device behavior and materials to diagnose and resolve yield and reliability issues
• Identify and communicate process, material and equipment-related yield sensitivities to assembly and test process owners and support corrective actions
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Process and Equipment teams and lead or join cross-functional teams tackling complex processing and design challenges
• Develop and maintain Pareto analyses of yield and quality limiters for assigned products
• Present data, document analysis and recommend next steps to meet project timelines
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work and share AI-enabled improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Science
• Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills
• Effective communicator who collaborates across all levels
• Growth mindset, leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
• Interests in AI literacy and digital fluency are expected
