Procurement Associate / Senior Associate – Services and Technology

About the role

Singapore Airlines is hiring a Procurement Associate or Senior Associate within its Procurement Services and Technology team. The person joins the procurement shared services set-up and handles sourcing events and the end-to-end supplier onboarding process.

Key responsibilities

• Run sourcing events (RFI/RFQ/RFP) for low- to medium-complexity purchases using the enterprise sourcing system.
• Manage supplier invitations and communications, including clarifications and follow-ups during sourcing events.
• Support supplier onboarding so that registration, tax and banking details are complete and accurate.
• Check supplier data quality and fix basic issues to avoid delays in purchase order creation and payment.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, SOPs and audit requirements.
• Handle high transaction volumes within tight turnaround times and service levels.
• Guide internal stakeholders and suppliers on system use and standard processes.
• Spot recurring issues and escalate exceptions to improve efficiency and reduce rework.

Required profile

• Diploma in business, supply chain, procurement or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience; fresh diploma holders with strong learning ability and aptitude will also be considered.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, organized and analytical.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Process-oriented, outcome-driven and adaptable to a changing business environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with digital tools such as SharePoint and Office 365.
• Basic SAP/Ariba knowledge.
