Procurement Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and supplier management for our food operations in Singapore. The role will ensure high‑quality ingredients, cost‑effective purchasing and seamless supply‑chain coordination to support our kitchen teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on food quality, reliability and pricing.
• Maintain strong relationships with farmers, distributors and manufacturers, conducting regular performance reviews.
• Negotiate contracts, bulk discounts and credit terms to achieve cost savings.
• Monitor market trends and seasonal price fluctuations to anticipate cost changes.
• Generate and approve purchase orders, align deliveries with logistics and resolve any discrepancies.
• Perform quality audits, manage certifications (Organic, Halal, allergen‑free) and develop backup supplier networks.
• Collaborate with the chef on R&D initiatives, testing new ingredients and improving shelf‑life.
• Track procurement KPIs such as food‑cost reduction, supplier accuracy and waste minimisation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related hospitality field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience in food, hospitality or related industry.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to manage budgets and monitor performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
