Procurement Manager

About the role

This Procurement Manager role sits within the Corporate Group (CORP) of IMDA, which supports the agency's core business units across Finance, Investment & Procurement, Incentive Management & Governance, Human Resources, Workplace & Organisation Development and the Digital Transformation Office. You will join the Procurement unit in the Finance, Investment & Procurement Division (FIP) to transform policies, systems and processes, championing data analytics and technology to drive innovation, automation and service delivery, while supporting the line divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise users promptly so that procurement activities are carried out efficiently and give guidance on contract management matters.
• Review procurement submissions, including sourcing documents and recommendation papers, and carry out related tasks.
• Drive projects using technologies such as Agentic AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Vibe Coding to improve user experience and processes.
• Analyse procurement data to build dashboards showing trends and forecasts, supporting informed decisions, demand aggregation and timely interventions.
• Develop and maintain systems or programmes that increase users' procurement knowledge.
• Collaborate with the internal audit team on audit reviews and propose improvements to policies, processes and systems.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in government procurement, with in-depth, hands-on knowledge of GeBIZ.
• Prior experience with Workday is advantageous.
• Experience implementing GenAI/Agentic AI/RPA projects is noted.
• Able to multi-task and work with all levels of management.
• Resourceful, adaptable, meticulous, independent and a self-motivated team player.
