Procurement Officer II

About the role

The Procurement Officer II will support RTX's aerospace and defense operations in Singapore by sourcing goods and services from local and overseas suppliers. The role ensures compliance with the company's procurement policies, ethics standards, global trade regulations, and environmental, health and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Work with requestors to define scope, specifications, and solicit quotations or price proposals.
• Establish baseline prices, evaluate offers, and negotiate commercial terms within authorized limits.
• Process purchase requisitions, issue orders, and confirm purchase or service agreements.
• Monitor delivery schedules, coordinate follow‑up, and manage non‑conforming goods or service issues.
• Conduct periodic vendor visits to assess capability, capacity, and compliance.
• Participate in cross‑functional teams for vendor qualification, work transfer assessments, and off‑loading of machining or special processes.
• Facilitate disposal of company property as required.

Required profile

• Understanding of RTX Code of Ethics, global trade, and EH&S policies.
• Ability to complete regulated training in ethics, compliance, and EH&S in a timely manner.
• Awareness of technological advances that can improve supply‑chain efficiency.
