Procurement Team Lead

About the role

Lead the procurement aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI) and program delivery from concept through volume production at NTS Singapore, ensuring material cost, quality, delivery and supplier readiness meet project and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Procurement NPI and program delivery, achieving cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Own NPI material cost and ensure total project cost meets or outperforms awarded pricing.
• Drive cost optimisation initiatives in collaboration with Category Management and suppliers.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across Procurement, Engineering, Quality, SCM and Operations.
• Manage supplier qualification, readiness activities, FAI, pilot builds and capacity planning.
• Handle program risks, issues and escalations, developing recovery plans.
• Establish program governance, milestones, reporting cadence and structured handover to Operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field.
• 5–10 years experience in procurement, supply chain or program management within contract manufacturing, semiconductor or high‑tech environment.
• Proven experience managing NPI programs and transitioning products to volume production.
• Strong knowledge of procurement fundamentals, sourcing, supplier management, cost control, lead times, MOQ, capacity planning and qualification.
• Understanding of complex mechanical, electromechanical and electrical assemblies and related manufacturing processes.
