Product Manager – Agile Government Solutions (1‑year contract)

About the role

Activate Interactive is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of software applications that help government agencies serve the community more effectively. The role is based on Agile fundamentals and involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact products.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects and products using appropriate Agile project‑management methodologies, iterating frequently.
• Define product roadmap, create and groom user stories, and maintain the backlog in JIRA and Confluence.
• Prioritise work against team capacity, facilitate planning sessions, and resolve conflicts.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Technical Lead, Business Analysts, UX Designers, and Engineers to plan and execute sprints.
• Analyse product specifications, recommend new product lines, and support market introduction.
• Communicate technical insights to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Agile principles and ability to break down high‑level plans into detailed actions.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and driving decisions that build high‑performing groups.
• Ability to manage product backlog, prioritise user stories, technical tasks, and bug fixes.
• Excellent communication skills for facilitating discussions and presenting technical information.
