Product Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is hiring a Product Quality Assurance (PQA) Engineer in Singapore who reports to the Site Quality Department. The engineer leads, supports and takes part in MRB and 8D meetings to resolve quality deviation events, works with Process Owners and central teams to reduce supply-chain impact, sets up and monitors quality metrics, and helps the Change team define the site's process conversion strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Drive inline and outgoing controls with area process/equipment owners and manufacturing teams to meet customer quality requirements
• Manage quality deviations and close corrective and preventive actions
• Perform data mining as part of problem solving and support improvements to performance variation affecting quality
• Work with Global Quality, Product Engineering and central teams to resolve key customer quality issues and improve business processes
• Lead quality improvement projects and use AI tools or RPA to boost efficiency
• Coordinate between SLPO/SLPS on IATF 16949 activities such as EPS BP, MRB BP and RMA BP

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Electrical or Electronic engineering, or equivalent
• Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills
• Effective communicator able to collaborate across all levels
• Growth mindset, leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is an advantage

Required skills

• Baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI tools responsibly
• Understanding of IATF 16949, MRB and RMA processes
