Production Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Huntsman Corporation is seeking a dynamic Production Manager to lead the Operations organization at its Jurong Island manufacturing site in Singapore. The role is responsible for safe, reliable and efficient plant performance while fostering a Zero Harm culture.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall performance of the Operations organization, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient plant operation.
• Champion a Zero Harm culture and lead safety‑related activities.
• Set clear expectations, accountability and performance standards across all operations functions.
• Conduct regular field engagement, self‑audits and safety observations.
• Identify organizational and capability gaps and implement sustainable improvements.
• Ensure succession planning, workforce development and competency management.
• Drive operational discipline, ownership and continuous improvement.
• Achieve production commitments while maintaining safety, quality, environmental and reliability standards.
• Collaborate with EH&S to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to meet site objectives.
• Anticipate future operational needs and implement proactive improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years experience in manufacturing, chemical, petrochemical, energy, pharmaceutical or related process industries.
• At least 5 years of people‑leadership experience in an operations environment.
• Strong understanding of process safety and operational risk management.
• Proven ability to lead and manage multiple organizational levels.
• Experience driving operational performance and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
