Production Planner – Oil & Gas (Tuas)

About the role

We are seeking a Production Planner to join our oil and gas operations in Tuas. The role focuses on creating and maintaining production schedules that align with capacity and customer demand, ensuring smooth material flow and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules, balancing capacity constraints and customer orders.
• Oversee inventory, material planning and just‑in‑time scheduling to optimise operations.
• Coordinate with Production, Master Planner, Sales and other stakeholders to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain accurate planning data in VM systems, including BOM, material master, routing and work centres.
• Monitor MRP runs and ensure timely procurement of required materials.
• Lead weekly planning meetings and generate reports on sales orders, capacity loading and work‑order execution.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, quality standards and 5S practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in production planning, manufacturing or operations.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
