Production Supervisor – Night Shift

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Production Supervisor to lead our night‑shift manufacturing operations in a fast‑paced precision environment. You will be responsible for meeting daily production targets while ensuring product quality and supporting continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead night‑shift production to achieve output, quality and delivery goals.
• Motivate and manage a team of leaders, technicians and operators.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as on‑time delivery, yield, scrap, efficiency and machine utilization.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Planning and Quality to resolve technical issues.
• Support machine maintenance planning and drive TPM activities.
• Review manpower and machine schedules to optimise performance.
• Participate in MRB reviews and address quality concerns.
• Drive Kaizen, 6S and process‑stabilisation projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and support SAP‑related activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably with supervisory responsibility.
• Background in optics, semiconductor, precision engineering or high‑volume production is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Effective problem‑solving, communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs, continuous‑improvement methods and shop‑floor operations.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
• Willingness to work permanent or rotating night shifts, including weekends when required.
