Production Supervisor – Specialty Chemicals

About the role

This hands‑on Production Supervisor will lead the launch of a new specialty chemicals plant in Singapore. You will be on the shop floor during commissioning, startup and the ramp‑up phase, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day production activities such as mixing, batching, filling, packaging and material handling.
• Supervise and develop operators and technicians, fostering a safety‑first culture.
• Coordinate with Quality, Warehouse, Maintenance and HSE teams to meet production schedules.
• Support commissioning, startup and operational ramp‑up activities.
• Monitor operational efficiency, troubleshoot equipment issues and drive continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in chemical, polymer, specialty chemicals, coatings or resin manufacturing.
• Prior supervisory or shift‑lead experience (mandatory).
• Hands‑on mindset with willingness to lead from the front.
• Familiarity with batch processing and mixing operations preferred.
