Production Support Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Production Support Analyst to provide high‑quality production support for cross‑functional applications serving UOB Wholesale Banking stakeholders in Singapore. The role involves ensuring application availability, managing incidents and problems, and driving continuous improvement through automation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver production support for mission‑critical banking applications, overseeing availability, incident, problem and capacity management.
• Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve incidents, problems and user issues within SLA.
• Coordinate incident communications, including SLA breaches and major incidents, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Lead technical remediation aligned with non‑functional requirements.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of services and processes.
• Maintain critical processes, define operational standards and promote knowledge management.
• Collaborate with Level 1, Level 3 and development teams to resolve issues.
• Support event management activities such as patching and disaster‑recovery exercises, and provide on‑call support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of L2/L3 production support experience in Banking IT, preferably in a high‑availability, mission‑critical environment.
• Experience with Cash & Trade Management platforms in Wholesale Banking is an advantage.
• Hands‑on experience with Pre‑DR and RDR activities.
• Previous development or system administration experience (Linux/Unix, Oracle) is preferred.
