Production Technician – 2-Year Fixed-Term Role

About the role

HOYA Electronics is seeking a Production Technician to support efficient, reliable operations on its semiconductor manufacturing line in Singapore. This 2‑year fixed‑term position works closely with the production team to maintain smooth daily workflows and uphold high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery and execute manufacturing processes according to established procedures, ensuring safety, efficiency and consistent product quality.
• Prepare raw materials, monitor inventory levels, conduct visual quality inspections, and track downtime and yield for process optimisation.
• Maintain accurate, detailed production records and ensure all documentation complies with internal requirements.
• Assist with additional operational tasks and perform ad‑hoc duties assigned by the supervisor to keep workflow uninterrupted.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (fresh graduates welcome) or 1–2 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
