Production Technician – Cylinder Filling

About the role

Air Liquide Singapore is seeking a Production Technician to manage cylinder filling operations for its industrial gas business. You will ensure daily customer orders are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast‑paced plant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Fill cylinders, pallets and LGCs to meet daily order targets and maintain a 50% buffer stock.
• Check empty stock availability, operate pumps and compressors, and treat cylinders as required.
• Inspect cylinders, equipment, VIE, and compressors; verify raw material availability.
• Follow all SOPs, ISO, IMS, and statutory safety procedures before, during and after work.
• Record production data accurately and use the GTS handheld device at each production stage.
• Sort, shift, pack, load and unload cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings and mandatory training.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace through daily housekeeping.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of operational experience in a manufacturing or plant setting.
• Experience in the chemical or industrial gases sector is highly desirable.
• Valid forklift licence (advantageous).
• Physically fit and able to navigate a large plant while performing manual tasks.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (licence).
• Pump and compressor operation.
• Use of GTS handheld device for production tracking.
• Cylinder inspection and handling.
