Programme Management Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Programme Management Engineer to drive product development, transfer, and operational excellence for our manufacturing projects. You will act as the bridge between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage RFQ, NPD, NPI, FA and product transfer activities.
• Prepare purchase requisitions, evaluate supplier offers and conduct technical bid assessments.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments throughout project lifecycles.
• Oversee audit processes, engineering change orders and certification from application to approval.
• Monitor supplier performance against delivery, cost and quality targets.
• Identify program risks, develop mitigation plans and track key performance indicators.
• Lead development of simulation test cases for process change verification.
• Support day‑to‑day design and engineering operations.

Required profile

• Degree/Diploma/Higher Nitec in Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with contract manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can address issues independently.

Required skills

• SAP system proficiency.
• Ability to read and analyse technical drawings and specifications.
• Creation of 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Simulation test case development.
